This development of several buildings for student accommodation is located just off the Woodstock Road in leafy North Oxford. Wedged in between older, more traditional looking residential houses, the brutalist architectures makes for a welcome change. It was designed in 1968 by the architect Sir Philip Dowson and work commenced in 1970. The buildings are fairly straightforward with concrete protruding window surrounds and ribbed external walls to give some interest.
